My favorite accessory

In response to Joanne DeMaio's post at Whole Latte Life, I left the following comment:

Hi Joanne,

My front porch is my personal retreat, my favorite place to sit, and think, and dream, and read, and write. Lately I've included photography in the mix.

As a lover of Country Style, baskets feature prominently in all areas of my life. And my afternoon porch sessions are no different. I keep a basket by the front door and it holds the essentials for my almost daily retreat - latest Writer's Digest magazine, current book I'm reading, dictionary, journal, writer's notebook, and an assortment of pens, pencils and highlighters.

I'll post a picture of it on my blog.

This is a photo of my favorite accessory, my basket for my almost daily retreat on my front porch.

What a pretty accessory, I love the lines of the handle. It's nice to have a space like that to keep the writing tools handy, and it's portable, too, to bring out on the porch, etc. I like the portability factor, thus my love for my tote as I take my stuff with me. Great picture, thanks for sharing!

Joanne,

Actually, the lines of the handle are what attracted me to the basket and I love the color too.

Clarisse: - Welcome. Yes baskets are pretty cool for all kinds of stuff. They are indeed my favorite accessory and my favorite organizing equipment. I use them in every room in my home.

Terri:- Now when I scoop up by baskets with my books and sit on my porch I'll think of you.
